This baby I call Jaboopee is  exactly one  year old today ,
It was intended to showcase my recent mosaic and glass work.

It very quickly became more than that, 
and featured my own home, and all the other things I made during the year.

4. toy portrait: parenthood, 5. family portrait as computer keys, 6. toy portrait:  barca 2006,
7. family portrait as cups at the cake cafe on my birthday 2009, 8. portrait of cait as her flowery wardrobe, 9. family portrait where each of us is a scary film

 I've spent a LOT of time on this computer in the last year ...

Blogging 3 times a week for 52 weeks is a LOT of time on this computer......

My Home... Bedroom plans ...

Well just to top the dismal tidings of last week, Monday morning brought more...
There'll be no happy ending to this road trip story.
The ' Artworld' can sometimes make a happy woman very old. 


But, as one of my dearest internal voices is wont to admonish....
" Don't get down  , Get doin'.... " [she's scottish] 

I have designed, and Joe is making an invisible wardrobe ...

All will be revealed....
It may take some time....

2009 review continued

Continuing this week of  2009 reviews  ( seeing as i've done nothing yet in 2010)


I never knew at the start of 2009 that I'd have a blog and would be sharing all this.
Knowing you have an audience or even an  audient......changes things.....


 So I started showing off my  "Portrait as a Toy " work,
 aka "Episodes from our lives as depicted by kept and found children's toys"  . 
Then I made more , and,.... for other people too.
